Requesting assistance to translation companies, customers often can not evaluate translation quality. Certainly, advertising their services, translation companies guarantee excellent result, promising that all works will be performed only by competent translators. Customer hardly understands whether it is true or not, mostly because he does not speak foreign languages! It is more difficult for those who make use of services of private translator.

It is quite often happens when the end result quite suits the customer only because text in Russian is clear, competent and easy to read. But in this case the customer does not have any warranty that translation is authentic.

 

It happens that translation representing a set of obscure and incoherent phrases is gave to the customer. The similar situation arises if difficult initial text has come to not too skilled translator. But also in this case the customer can be assured that anything terrible does not happen, and will try to understand sense of the poor-quality translation. Suppose that it is necessary to translate up to 40 printing pages of a text material for a customer of translation company. But in the beginning he asks to calculate a sum for the translation service. But the problem that the translation company means a usual printer’s sheet of A4 format (approximately 1800 signs with blanks), and the customer for one sheet accepts a newspaper sheet with 40 thousand symbols in it! Can you imagine, what sum will hear the poor customer who does not suspect that the thing is not in "greed" of translators, but only in miscomprehension of two parties.

 

To avoid similar situations, it is necessary to specify all subtleties of work of translator in advance. To evaluate cost of translation by experts will be easier if the original text will be before their eyes. If customer cannot bring a printing material to company, it is better to send it by e-mail.
